Crochet Hat Patterns Update

Firstly I would like to thank everyone for continuing to give us such great support your emails and comments are so nice it makes it all seem worthwhile.

As most of you regular visitors will note we have been very busy off site and not had a lot of time to update the pages, we do feel very bad about this and hope to provide lots of updates in the coming few weeks.

The wonderful e book we had is no longer available and that too is a bit sad however we will be replacing it just as soon as we can.

At the moment we still have volume one of our Free Crochet Patterns available by subscribing on the right hand side, anyone who has subscribed will know that we do not send lots of follow up sales letters in fact to date we have not sent a single follow up as we have not seen anything worth endorsing at this time. Now a lot of that is down to our lack of time and we hope to at least review more products and supplier in the coming months.

We would welcome any contact from supplier’s who wish us to review products with a view to providing said review on the site, fell free to get in touch.

We had hoped to upgrade to volume two and in fact be on volume 3 or 4 of our Free Crochet Hat patterns etc by this time, however as we get so many “robots” coming on the site and taking the info we have been looking at how to resolve this issue, also those who subscribed download and unsubscribe may be people who are then trying to sell the patterns for profit later.

To counter the problems we will have lots of crochet patterns in a bumper give away very soon but it will only be available to those who sign up via the link and therfore provide a genuine mail address and we can confirm are not robots. We will be using a third party to provide this info and details will be in our terms of Service documents.

I look forward to also publishing a weekly pattern on the site, these will be themed and relevant to the time of year and I hope every one enjoys them. I would ask that anyone who has info or patterns to share to get in touch and we will be happy to publish them here with you details etc.

Well this is the longestw e have been in admin for weeks so we will have to sign off, however I do hope you keep checking back for our updates.

I would say no. Somebody owns the copyright to that pattern and instructions. Taking the pattern and making something more out of it for yourself would be fine – but wouldn’t make it yours to share. You could share your pattern in part but give credit to the square – like “I used the square from . . . ” without reproducing it and without infringing on the rights of the owners of the pattern.

I understand the first part up until 1dc, 2ch, 1dc in next ch, sl st to 1st dc.
Sorry i made a mistake.

what happens with other 32 stitches?

Round2; 3ch, 1tr in 2-ch loop, 2ch, 1 tr in same loop, 1 tr in ea of next 2 dc.

I got this patter from spotlight in a book and its not online to see if it is a printed mistake.

Not sure how much you know, so I’ll explain each stitch, just in case.

C1 refers to color 1. So:
Using Color 1 chain 72, slip stitch (insert hook into first chain, pull through all loops on hook) to form ring. Chain 1, {double crochet (yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2, yarn over, pull through 2), chain 2, double crochet (insert hook into same chain as first double crochet)} all in the same stitch as the slip stitch, then double crochet into the next 35 chains, then {double crochet, chain 2, double crochet} into the next chain.

About the other 32… Were there symbols in there, maybe indicating to repeat? I would just double crochet into them.

Chain 3, treble crochet (yarn over twice, insert hook into chain 2 space, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2, yarn over, pull through 2, yarn over pull through 2), chain 2, treble crochet in same chain 2 space, then 2 treble crochet in each double crochet, with treble crochet, chain 2, treble crochet in any chain 2 space
